Hariff Defense and Naval Group Sign MoU for Strategic Cooperation on Indo Defense 2024

Jakarta, June 12, 2025 - PT Hariff Dipa Persada and Naval Group Sign MoU for Strategic Cooperation on Indonesian Defense Projects At the largest defense exhibition in Southeast Asia, Indo Defence 2024 held on June 12, 2025, PT Hariff Dipa Persada, a national private defense technology company, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Naval Group, a French maritime defense company and manufacturer of the famous Scorpene submarine.

The MoU aims to explore strategic cooperation in supporting defense in Indonesia.The MoU signing was held at the Naval Group booth, and is the first step of a closer synergy between the two companies in supporting the strengthening of Indonesia's maritime sovereignty through technology collaboration and local industrialization in the future.

This collaboration is also part of the follow-up strategic cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of France in the field of defense. "This cooperation reflects our commitment to national defense and the readiness of the domestic industry to play an active role in major projects such as Scorpene.

This MoU opens up opportunities for the development of cooperation in various fields such as tactical communications, control systems, technology integration, and enhancing the capabilities of Indonesian human resources through technology transfer and training.
